It is with great pleasure we welcome you and your child to a new year at Ahlul-Beyt weekend School. Our staff is committed to offering a great Arabic, Islamic, and Quran programs in a safe and suppositive environment. We believe that parents are partners in education; and therefore, your support and involvement are pivotal for our success. Understanding each others’ roles and responsibilities warrants a smooth and harmonious relationship.

Our Goals

Ahlul-Beyt Friday School goal is to provide a strong Islamic education for our children and youth to assist the parents in their endeavor to raise their children according to the Islamic conduct. The school offers academic excellence in an Islamic atmosphere and a quality learning environment to build and develop an integrated Islamic identity.
Ahlul-Beyt School strives to prepare young Muslims to become well versed in Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and Arabic language. Through the commitment and dedication  to the Ahlul-Beyt School of Thought as well as the adoption of a structured curriculum, the School aspires to help develop a new breed of American Muslims. Muslims who will carry the torch and pass it down to the next generation.

Islamic Studies

The goal of the Islamic Studies department is to understand the basic Islamic beliefs and teachings according to the Ahlul-Beyt (sa) school of though. This includes being able to perform wudu and daily prayers (salat), understanding Islamic history, jurisprudence (fiqh), faith (aqaid), and ethics (akhlaq), memorization of hadiths and supplications (Dua’as) on monthly basis, but most importantly to be able to practice the proper Islamic etiquette and manners.

Quranic Studies

The Quranic Studies department is committed to serve students of all ages and levels. These services include memorization of surahs from The Holy Quran, understanding the meanings of the surahs, and general recitation of the different surahs from the The Holy Qur’an with correct pronunciation and rules of Tajweed.

Arabic Language

The Arabic Department’s main focus is to have students be able to read and write the Arabic alphabet, individual words and construct basic sentences, engage in different conversations for different settings, learn some basic vocabulary and will develop oral skills and learn the sounds of the Arabic language and to learn how to greet others, introduce themselves and carry simple conversations using short phrases.

Books and materials fee: $100.00

Payment has to be received by the 1 st Friday of every month. Parents are committed to pay for the full school year. The school year is nine months from September to May. No refund for partial attendance.
